Security & Data Protection

Home information deserves careful treatment. Our approach centers on data minimization, controlled access, transparent AI use, and human review.

Access controls

Accounts use provider-managed authentication. Application and staff access is designed to be limited by role, engagement, and business need. Staff access should use individual accounts and be reviewable.

Protected transmission and storage

Production traffic uses encrypted HTTPS transmission. Cloud databases and storage use provider-managed encryption at rest, private storage controls, and restricted media access where supported.

AI controls

Only information reasonably necessary for an authorized analysis should be submitted for AI processing. AI output remains draft-only until employee review. Renewstead does not authorize identifiable client content for general AI model training without separate consent.

Backups and recovery

Backups support continuity rather than indefinite retention and follow the retention and deletion standards described in our Privacy Policy.

Employee safeguards

Our operating standard includes individual staff accounts, least-privilege access, multifactor authentication where available, confidentiality expectations, onboarding and offboarding controls, and documented review standards.

Report a concern

Report suspected unauthorized access to support@renewstead.com with the subject Urgent account security. Do not include passwords, access codes, or sensitive media.

Honest limits

No digital system is completely secure. We do not describe our services as unhackable, anonymous, or end-to-end encrypted unless a specific feature has been independently verified to meet that description.
