RENEWSTEAD PLANNER
Terms of Use
Effective July 20, 2026
These Terms of Use are an agreement between you and Homeward Living Advisory LLC, doing business as Renewstead, concerning Renewstead Planner and related account, cloud, and application features (the "App"). By creating an account or using the App, you agree to these terms and our Privacy Policy.
Eligibility and accounts
You must be at least 18 and legally capable of entering an agreement. Provide accurate information, protect your credentials and devices, and promptly notify us of suspected unauthorized access.
Purpose of the App
The App helps users document a home, complete interactive planning checklists, organize priorities, store supporting media, collaborate with authorized people, and prepare for consultation. Features may include AI-assisted organization or draft analysis followed by employee review.
No emergency or licensed professional service
The App does not monitor a property and is not an emergency service. For fire, gas, structural instability, active water intrusion, crime, medical emergencies, or another immediate hazard, contact 911 or the appropriate emergency, utility, or licensed professional service.
The App and general information are not architectural, engineering, contracting, building-code, home-inspection, occupational-therapy, medical, legal, tax, or financial services. Recommendations requiring licensed judgment, permits, construction, or clinical evaluation must be handled by appropriately licensed professionals.
AI-assisted features and human review
AI-assisted features may organize information and produce draft questions, classifications, summaries, or suggested priorities. AI output can be incomplete, inaccurate, or unsuitable for a specific property or user. Unless clearly identified as reviewed and approved by an authorized Renewstead employee, it remains an unapproved draft. You remain responsible for confirming facts and obtaining qualified professional advice before acting.
Separate client engagements
A consultation, project-planning, or owner's-representation engagement requires a separate written agreement governing scope, fees, authority, deliverables, professional relationships, confidentiality, insurance, and risk allocation. If that signed agreement conflicts with these App terms concerning an engagement, the signed agreement controls.
User content and permissions
You retain ownership of photographs, videos, documents, notes, and other content you submit. You grant Renewstead and its providers a limited, nonexclusive license to host, copy, transmit, process, organize, analyze, display, and create reports from that content solely to operate, secure, support, and provide the Services, comply with law, and fulfill an authorized engagement. This license ends when content is deleted, subject to backup cycles and permitted retained records.
You must have the rights and permissions needed to submit content, including information about another person or property. Do not submit unlawful content, concealed recordings made without required consent, or unnecessary sensitive information.
Collaborators and authorized access
You are responsible for selecting appropriate family members, representatives, or collaborators; reviewing their access; and removing it when no longer needed. Each collaborator must use individual credentials.
Acceptable use
You may not misuse the App; attempt unauthorized access; interfere with security or availability; introduce malicious code; scrape or reverse engineer the App except where law permits; violate another person's rights; submit deceptive or unlawful content; use automated output as a substitute for required licensed judgment; or resell the App without written authorization.
Renewstead materials
The App, software, branding, interface, checklists, methodology, taxonomies, report formats, and other Renewstead materials are owned by Homeward Living Advisory LLC or its licensors. We grant you a limited, revocable, nontransferable right to use the App for its intended personal or authorized business purpose.
Payments and real-world services
If digital subscriptions or paid features are introduced, the applicable app-store billing, cancellation, and refund terms will be disclosed before purchase. Consultation, project, and other real-world service fees are governed by the applicable client agreement.
Availability, suspension, and termination
We may maintain, change, or discontinue features. The App is not a permanent archival repository; retain independent copies of important information. You may stop using the App and request deletion at any time. We may suspend access when reasonably necessary for security, unlawful activity, material breach, nonpayment, or legal requirements. When practical, we will provide notice and an opportunity to export content before a non-emergency termination.
Third-party services
The App may use or link to independent third-party platforms. Their terms may also apply. Apple, Google, and Microsoft are not responsible for providing Renewstead support services except as their own terms state.
Disclaimers
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the App and unreviewed output are provided "as is" and "as available." Renewstead disclaims implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will identify every condition, risk, cost, code issue, or appropriate improvement. These disclaimers do not exclude warranties that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Renewstead will not be liable under these App terms for indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, punitive, or consequential damages, or loss of data, profits, or opportunity. Our aggregate liability arising from the App will not exceed the greater of amounts paid for the App during the preceding 12 months or $100. This limit does not apply where prohibited by law. A signed client agreement, not this section, governs liability for paid consultation or project services.
Governing law and disputes
Florida law governs these terms without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Subject to applicable consumer law, state and federal courts located in Orange County, Florida have exclusive jurisdiction. Before filing a claim, the parties will attempt in good faith for 30 days to resolve it after written notice.
Changes and general terms
We may update these terms and will provide reasonable notice of material changes. If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain effective. Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. These terms, the Privacy Policy, and any applicable signed client agreement are the entire agreement concerning their respective subjects.
